The Cognitive Corner

Collaborating with Simone to bring The Cognitive Corner's brand to life was a deeply fulfilling experience. Founded in 2019, The Cognitive Corner started as an Instagram page born from Simone’s passion for making mental health information accessible, digestible, and free from the overwhelming clinical jargon that can often feel alienating. What started as a small social media presence soon blossomed into a growing community, passionate about a more empathetic, culturally responsive approach to mental health care.

As the community expanded, so did Simone’s vision. By April 2021, The Cognitive Corner transformed into a full-fledged psychological practice, offering clients not only traditional therapy but also incorporating body-based and cognitive approaches that acknowledge the diverse and nuanced needs of each individual. Every element of the branding was designed to reflect Simone’s commitment to creating an inclusive, trauma-informed space where people can feel understood and supported.

The goal of The Cognitive Corner's brand identity is to communicate warmth, empathy, and a clear mission to destigmatise mental health, particularly for the BIPOC community. From the thoughtful use of warm colours to the inviting logo design, everything is centered around making mental health care feel approachable, safe, and accessible to all. It was truly an honour to help elevate a brand that’s making such an important impact on the way mental health care is viewed and delivered.
